After being cooped up all winter it can be exciting to finally get out and about again with your beloved cat or dog, but it's also important that you keep your pets safe and out of harm's way. Here are five ways you can ensure the safety of your animal companion when stepping out to take advantage of the warmth and sunshine. 1. Keep an Eye on Their Temperature Keep a close eye on your pet during warm days to ensure they aren't overheating. Dogs may pant excessively, hyperventilate, or show increased levels of saliva.
